Every English garden is a small piece of our green and pleasant land. Some are formal and classical. Others are practical and lived in, the garden jacket is cut for both. It is made for being outside, in a city garden or a country one. And like any garden, it grows better with time.

Made from a heavyweight moleskin fabric, tightly woven to keep you warm and dry in the winter with a velvety corduroy collar giving the jacket a luxury hand feel and look.
The buttons sit behind a hidden ‘placket’, so the front looks clean when the jacket is done up. It’s a detail borrowed from British overcoats which used a fly front to keep the line uninterrupted and to stop wind finding its way through the button holes. We’ve carried the idea further with curved stitching down the front that traces the sweep a lapel on a suit makes when it folds back.
Under the collar you’ll find Wini Fred embroidery, this is the only visible branding on the jacket and you can decide whether or not you want to show it off.

We recommend dry cleaning if you want to keep your jacket smart. If you do however wash it in the washing machine it will speed up the ‘patina’ ageing process so it will look more relaxed and worn in.
