Mallard

The mallard needs no introduction, being encountered everywhere from the town park to the village pond, from the reservoir to the wildest sea loch. Just like a mallard, this jacket is built for city side and country side.

This is the winter to be channelling your inner mallard: eating lots of bread, cold plunging, chilling in parks and flying away from your problems.

Made from a heavyweight moleskin fabric, tightly woven to keep you warm and dry in the winter with a velvety corduroy collar giving the jacket a luxury hand feel and look.

The buttons sit behind a hidden ‘placket’, so the front looks clean when the jacket is done up. It’s a detail borrowed from British overcoats which used a fly front to keep the line uninterrupted and to stop wind finding its way through the button holes. We’ve carried the idea further with curved stitching down the front that traces the sweep a lapel on a suit makes when it folds back.

Under the collar you’ll find Wini Fred embroidery, this is the only visible branding on the jacket and you can decide whether or not you want to show it off.
